Although Fort Valley is easily reached from I-81 at exit 279 with no real hard climbing, you can get into Fort Valley without crossing over any mountains by entering at the north end, near I-66 off route 55 at Waterlick between Front Royal and Strasburg. Click on any approach for Written Directions
