DIRECTIONS

Although Fort Valley is easily reached from I-81 at exit 279 with no real hard climbing, you can get into Fort Valley without crossing over any mountains by
entering at the north end, near I-66 off route 55 at Waterlick between Front Royal and Strasburg.

From the I-81 area
At Exit 279 turn east on Hwy 675 for 1 mile to Hwy 11, turn left on Hwy 11 for 1/2 mile to the Jeep car dealer, turn right on Hwy 675 over the mountain for
5 1/2 miles to the Kings Crossing Junction, turn right on Hwy 678 for 1 1/2 miles to the Stable entrance.

From Hwy. 55 area
Off of Hwy 55 between Front Royal and
Strasburg, at Waterlick turn south on Hwy 678 for 22 miles to the stable entrance on the right.

From the Luray area
Off of Business 340 between US 211 and
Business 211, turn onto Hwy 675 (Mechanic Street), go 3 1/2 miles to the Shenandoah River bridge, at the end of the bridge turn left (you are still on Hwy 675), go 1/2 mile, take the sharp curve to the right over the mountain 5 3/4 miles to Hwy 678, turn left for 1/4 mile to the stable entrance on the left.
